I have most recently been working for IBM/Nordcloud in a contract role for the NHS - working on the DOS re-write project - the DOS content providing the data for many business critical NHS dashboards and services.
Prior to this, I have contracted for the following companies in the last few years:
I returned to Pearson, this time in a contract position, to help them run research for their various English Language Tests (PTE and others), test the desirability of a new language learning classroom concept in several different markets through multi-language surveys, and I was also the Research/UXD lead on Speakout - an AI powered English speaking practice tool, that formed a module in several Pearson courseware titles.
At Tesco I worked in a UX Designer and UX Research capacity - working on projects exclusively for the in-store experience team. Which included the design of the new in-store hub tab of the Tesco app, which included: smart shopping lists, location-based tools and in-store stock check, and a price-points and savings calculator with improved search and product matching functionality, which allowed us to give more accurate guide price and savings information to our customers.
Prior to this I was working full time for Pearson education in a hybrid role as a UX Researcher/Service Designer/UX Designer, and at Sainsbury's, in a User Researcher and UX Designer role, helping them to redesign their self-checkouts and other customer and colleague touchpoints, in the last few years I also worked for KPMG, working on-site at TSB, and helping them with a range of migration projects, and leading other in-house projects for TSB bank.
Some of the other companies I've worked with include: Redbridge Council, AS&K Digital, We Are Friday, HSBC, Tradefair/LMAX Ltd, Parliamentary Digital Service, Houses of Parliament, BBC (in multiple departments), NHS, Global Radio, The Telegraph, Express Newspapers, Abbey Road Interactive and others...
